A well-recognised security company is seeking a SOC Analyst to join its growing security operations team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment focused on detecting, investigating, and responding to cyber threats across multiple client environments.

The Role

As a SOC Analyst, you’ll play a key part in the day-to-day monitoring and response of security incidents. You’ll investigate alerts, identify risks, and work with internal teams and clients to resolve issues quickly. This role also comes with the responsibility to work with a capable team to resolve any and all security risks and issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts from various detection tools.
• Analyse network traffic, endpoints, and cloud environments to identify potential threats.
• Escalate and manage security incidents through to resolution.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to enhance threat detection and response capabilities.
• Document findings, procedures, and lessons learned to strengthen future response efforts.

Skills & Experience

• Experience in a SOC, cyber analyst, or similar technical security role.
• Strong understanding of networking, operating systems, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Experience with tools such as SIEM, EDR, or IDS/IPS solutions.
• Knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) is an advantage.
• Communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Relevant degree or certifications (CompTIA Security+, CEH, or similar) preferred.
